Note on Glass Birdbath Care:

Glass Birdbaths are not as durable as metal, ceramic and concrete birdbaths and need to be taken in during the colder months to prevent shattering.

With proper care, a glass birdbath will give you and your birds many years of enjoyment. Special attention needs to be paid though due to the material. Keeping in mind the activity levels of your yard (i.e. is it in a high-traffic area where someone may inadvertently knock it over?), the cleanliness of the bath, incoming wind-storms, and dwindling temperatures all play a part in helping you enjoy your bird bath for a long time.
